We have the good fortune of visiting Berkley Springs, WVA this week for a little rest and relaxation.  George Washington discovered the restorative waters of the mountain springs and the Berkley Springs State Park located in the middle of town marks the stone lined bath he frequented.  The town itself has two names, the other Bath, named after the same in England.  The water is so crystal clear and one can only marvel at water flowing by in a stream that you would want to drink from.  The State of West Virginia has an historic spa at the Park which we enjoyed immensely.  Its aura of brass piping to heat the water to 102 degrees F. and the old ball and claw tubs, walk-down tiled Roman Baths and twirling fans overhead the massages were movie set material.
