Black Lace Elderberry

This little gem was a find during the Horticultural Society of Maryland tour of gardens last weekend.  Its lacy leaves reminded one of a Japanese Maple.  Its color and flower are exceptional. A Proven Garden winner in 2006.  Sambucus nigra.  Now, where can we put one in our garden?
