The Christmas tradition lives on at the Baltimore City Fire Department Cross Country Station. They’ve been drawing the child in everyone to see their Train Garden since 1952. At one time there were 220 different motors running to blow the smoke, turn the merry-go-round and let the ice skaters slide across the mirror of ice. Train Set buffs would know the lingo – this is a O Scale Train. Every year a fire that the firemen put out the year before is depicted in the garden. This one happened at a building which ironically made toy train parts. More pictures to come.
