Poinsettias at Baltimore’s Conservatory
Two weeks before Christmas and what a fine display of Santa’s sleigh and Frosty the Snowman surrounded by the quintessential flower for Christmas, the poinsettia. Here you see the hothouse conditions like in Mexico where the shrub winters over. Baltimore’s late Victorian Conservatory has been recently restored, celebrating its 125th anniversary and has an equally outstanding neighbor, the Baltimore Zoo in Druid Hill Park.
