Ann’s Florist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Proteus, Hydrangea, Anthurium,

Proteus, Hydrangea, Anthurium,

After dinner last night we strolled along Las Olas, the walk of walks in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There I discovered Ann’s Florist.  This morning I was there by 10:30 am to take an inside view of the windows I saw last night.  She has the best silk flowers I’ve seen.  Maybe because there were a variety of tropical ones or maybe because there were masses of white flowers, I’m only sure that Ann opened up another vacation spot for me to visit.  We’ll talk more about artificials later because Kim, a floral arranger there, said they don’t photograph well.  So here you see a wonderful combination of shades and textures of pink:  the largest proteus I’ve ever seen, hydrangea and antherium.  Oh if I could carry an arrangement home on the plane I’d buy the seat next to me to sit it on!
