Poppy Print 1966
Here it is Halloween. Many of the leaves fell from the rain yesterday but here in Baltimore the ground and limbs still are full of leaf color. We went to a funeral today – R.I.P rest in peace. On the way home from church a sign pointed left. The Nearly New Sale at GBMC Hospital. Today is the last day when you can fill a bag for pennies. This is where I found my poppy. My trick and treat for the evening’s festivities. You don’t want to know how much I paid for this ravishing, signed, no numbered print. $1.50. That certainly is my treat. The trick is to validate why I bought it anyway and where is it going to go. But I went knocking at the sale door and they treated me!
