Osprey in Flight

Recently we visited St. Michaels, Maryland.  The first morning there we quietly left the house and circled over to the east side of the property to see if the post was occupied by ospreys.  Indeed it was.  In fact as soon as we rounded the shoreline trees, the mother/father left the nest of three fledglings to let us know that we were not wanted.  Flying above us, we were “sea hawked” until the back door slammed behind us.  To our satisfaction Mr./Mrs. Osprey did not take away our camera.
