Flowers from the wholesalers are two steps ahead of the weeks to come.  Photinia leaves from the wonderful red tipped autumn bush were there at the wholesalers just begging to be bought.  That was the starting point yesterday but the warm salmon of the stock turned things around.  Stock is a standard, feminine, long-lasting with a lovely scent.  Yesterday it became the counterpoint to the rust of spider mums and little poms.
