Purple Filler
When picking out the flowers for the week first order of business, the stargazer lilies. We wanted to see how easily or not they would integrate with carns and poms, their being so big and the others so small, their being celestial versus terrestrial. Stacking the flowers and surveying the color palette, tones of pinks and purples, something was missing. The transition. That’s when the salesman at Pennock said, “Filler.” Indeed, filler it was. Those tiny beads of color could sewed the different flowers together.
