‘Calm and centred’
Designer: Lauren Davis

Lauren Davis wants to show others how gardening can be simple and accessible and she did just that with her “Calm and Centered” designed garden, winner of the NS&I Growing Gardens Today Competition 2010.  A passionate gardener with a post graduate diploma in Landscape Architecture, her space shows how to grow your own produce with no apprehensions.  A sunken ‘keyhole’ garden design creates a more sheltered environment for accessibility.  Lauren carefully selects edible plants like nasturtiums with cabbages and carrots and onions which block and repel pests.
