You are my friends!

Jesus tells us

And St. Gregory the Great

Reminds us.

I have called you friends

Because everything

I have heard from the Father

I have made known to you.

But Lord, we are hard of hearing

Our sight is not yours

Please tell us over and over

Your are my friends!

Then we hope to draw closer

Into your loving embrace.

Tells us that love is knowledge.

With my acceptance

Of your love, Lord

I hope to be able

To understand the Word

Of your Father and ours
