Dozens of couples visit the Cloisters each week to envision their wedding through the leaded glass windows in the woods and up the crest of a fairy tale hill on Falls Road. Pale pink roses against the backdrop of wood and stone let the autumn leaves show their beauty.

Here’s a take on a snow globe with beauty berries and some alstromeria, mini and medium size mums. There’s a little strawflower if you look closely.
But of course, Sunflowers would be the finest flowers fresh from the fields in October. They will continue until the frost and then they will be a lighter color when they come from South America. Price $40 with raffia vase, $35 without. Watch for November specials.
