Carlisle Flowers
This is my market around my kitchen sink. Flowers in their different pails for me to drink.
You are having people over and in short order the flowers are telling you, “Put us some place. We don’t mind if you arrange us with our friends.” So that’s what a good hostess does, she listens to her guests.
Triangles, triangles of white pulling each way, triangles of burgundy mums, triangles of roses arched by red eucalyptus, liatrus and quince branches. Leather ferns dissecting them all.
