Isn’t this an incredible stump. Heather seemed so appropriate to sit in its hollow. It’s an earthy flower with tough branches for its stalks. To keep the irregularly shaped stalks upright we put some rotten branches in the vase to create a grid to keep the heather in place. Easier to be a stump.
Maryvale Castle in Brooklandville, Maryland is a lovely venue for an affair. Here the bride chose lit curly willow branches to effect a “Lord of the Rings” ambience. The dark wood paneling was displaying in a light twinkling way.
